Institutional Quality Assurance And Accreditation

  •  -

Following up on the last workshop given in September 2016, this workshop will focus on expanding the topics covered in the last workshop with more in-depth case studies and more opportunities for interaction with participants. It will give an overview of topics covered in the last workshop and will review them briefly to refresh the participant’s knowledge about IQA and accreditation.

Fundamental concepts including IQA models and Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) will be reviewed. General steps to be taken to achieve IQA accreditation will also be outlined and discussed. Using AUN criteria of institutional accreditation as an example, the workshop will focus on coaching participants to prepare their institutions for future AUN accreditation and particularly assisting them to prepare their self-assessment reports (SAR). While being useful to past participants, the workshop will be conducted in such a way that allows new participants to fully benefit from the workshop.

This is the second BUILD-IT workshop on Institutional Quality Assurance (IQA) and Accreditation taught by Dr. Charles Cuong Nguyen.
