Program Progress Check: Workshops on Stakeholder Involvement and Continuous Improvement (IUH)

Instructors:  Dr. Scott Danielson, Ms. Ha Mai, Mr. Thai Tran -- Arizona State UniversityAttendees:  IUH’s interested administrators, program leaders and lecturers who were at the October 21 -22 workshops.Expected Outcomes: This session provides a progress check and feedback for leadership and IUH’s program groups working on ABET (and AUN-QA) compliant stakeholder involvement and continuous improvement processes. Both areas are important to accreditation organizations like AUN-QA and ABET and ABET criteria will be used since AUN-QA requirements are satisfied by ABET while the reverse is not true. A specific focus on the workshop is to review progress on homework for these two areas assigned after the October 22nd workshop. There will be opportunity for programs to raise specific issues related to their current state of accreditation preparations. Outcome will be improved progress, readiness, and preparations for accreditation reviews and possible expert in-person reviews.
