Introduction to Blended Learning and EdTech

This 3-hour workshop introduces the concept of blended learning and the importance of educational technology (EdTech) in teaching and learning, especially in delivering a blended course. Various EdTech tools, especially the Learning Management system (LMS, in particular Moodle) will be presented and explained how they can be used in different online and face to face activities. Participants will be provided with hands-on interactive activities to try out different tools and share their work. Sample blended lesson plan will also be shared to provide participants a good starting point to flip their classes. The workshop will be concluded with some information on resources required to run an LMS.
