Work Coaching Sessions on ABET Accreditation Strategy & Plan Development – Phenikaa University

Expected Outcomes: In these strategic work coaching sessions, BUILD-IT staff will guide PU leaders through roadmap development of the institution and its programs’ journey of seeking first-time ABET accreditation.  A key element of the sessions will review other Vietnamese successful first-time accreditation efforts and their suggested best practices. A structured approach based on processes developed by BUILD-IT, proven successful at various Vietnamese colleges and universities, is featured for guiding accreditation preparations. To support PU in embarking the ABET accreditation process and journey, BUILD-IT team will take PU leaders through interactive discussions towards building a tactical work plan for accreditation. PU leaders develop background knowledge on the ABET accreditation processes and a draft strategy to begin the ABET journey. Key processes such as leadership commitment, curriculum review, continuous improvement based on student learning, and stakeholder involvement will be featured. Leadership-based strategies for managing the accreditation process and engaging faculty/lecturers in required processes, e.g.,  data collection related to student learning, will be emphasized via PU/BUILD-IT partnership.
