Innovation & Entrepreneurship Challenge (IEC) – Information Session

Expected Outcomes:  

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge inspire and empower students as young innovators and entrepreneurs to realize their innovative ideas into real products and bring their ventures and solutions to the next level. IEC is a real-world vehicle to provide students with experience focusing their ideas, meeting deadlines, writing a design plans and presenting their ideas to the world. These skills prepare students for a competitive work environment. This is a great way to gain practical leadership experience while in university. Participating to IEC, students will be able to:

-    Gain leadership, communication, team work and project management skills
-    Learn to budget and spend real money with project stipends
-    Understand and apply design process to complete innovation projects 
-    Understand the basics of early-stage venture development, including sales and pre-sales
-    Develop key venture deliverables, including validated value propositions, business models, and go-to-market strategies
-    Develop an English language evidence-based pitch deck that is built upon real data garnered from an initial customers

IEC Information session is aimed to provide target students with the competition rules, important dates, financial support and other program resources. IEC host will guide students through the IEC proposal template, and how to write a convincing effective proposal with potential impact.
