Attendees:  Program Leaders/Key Faculty from programs with a program-level Industrial Advisory Boards and Leaders/Key Members of those Industrial Advisory Boards


Expected Outcomes:  This advanced program-level Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) workshop combines workshop and coaching methodologies to help programs and their IAB leaders focus on aspects of high performance program industrial advisory boards. A high performing IAB does many good things for a program and its industry supporters, along with helping to fulfill international recognition requirements via either ABET or AUN-QA. The program teams will be working with their key IAB members to develop an advanced model and structure related to sustaining formal and productive relationship with program-level industrial advisory boards. The instructional team includes Mr. Allen Galloway, an industry practitioner and experienced leader of a very high performing IAB in the United States.

8:30 – 8:35 am Overview of Workshop and Expectations
8:35 – 8: 50 am Pre-Workshop Survey Results and Discussion
Participants will have been asked to complete a short survey about their current IAB and its operation. These results will be summarized and used as benchmarking for the workshop.
8:50 – 9:10 am Roundtable Discussion and Establishment of Workshop Objectives
Participants will be guided on development of workshop objectives.
9:10 – 9:45 am High Performing IAB Structure and Systems
Participants will be guided and participate in developing their IAB’s structure and systems in the areas of:
1. IAB Organizational Structure and Staffing
2. IAB Planning Systems
3. IAB Quality Systems
