Resources are individual assets of information used to reach specific education or learning outcomes. Resources are categorized by topics and can vary in type. In HELIX, resources types range from online articles, documents, videos, books, websites, among others. They include partner and industry specific focused assets like the Oracle Academy Java courses and National Instruments curriculum documents. 

A toolkit is a package made up a number of resources that will help you achieve a specific goal or outcome. A toolkit may include, articles, templates and examples of best practices. As a HELIX member, you will have access to a variety of toolkits focused on STEM and Education related topics, for example “Writing the Self Study”, the “Development of the Project Based Curriculum.” “Implementing EPICS,” and many, many more.
